Profit

UPD’s profits should not just benefit its shareholders but the community as a whole and is a vital commitment that goes beyond the businesses bottom line but encourages all people connected to UPD.  UPD is proud to continue to support the people in our community with its ongoing donations to the below charities.  Each year we invite staff to suggest charities close to their hearts and look forward to adding more for-purpose organisations to this list.

Planet

In today’s rapidly changing world, businesses are increasingly recognizing the need to take meaningful action in the face of environmental challenges. As the global community confronts the pressing issue of climate change, our company is committed to playing a pivotal role in this transformative journey. We understand that the time for rhetoric has passed; it is now time for concrete, measurable actions. That is why we are proud to introduce our ambitious net-zero targets, a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability and a pledge to make a positive impact on the planet. In this introduction, we will outline our vision for a sustainable future, the steps we are taking to achieve our net-zero goals, and the broader implications of this commitment for our company, our stakeholders, and the world at large. Our journey towards net zero is more than a corporate obligation; it is a moral imperative and a promise to future generations that we are dedicated to preserving the planet they will inherit.

UPD’s people-centric approach to business fosters a collaborative approach to providing client solutions whilst ensuring its people work in a flexible environment that values growth and investment in them personally, not just profits, whilst offering a work environment that is multicultural, multigenerational and diverse.
